Unique
Victorian era man's night shirt of light weight twill cotton
and "turkey red" embroidery trim in front, on collar and sleeve cuffs
and the pocket on left side chest. Three buttons to chest, then open to hemline with two tie closures. The sides are open splits. Very good condition and very clean. I noticed a tiny hole smaller than pea size below left shoulder in back. Measurements: 50" chest , 6" extra fullness in gathers in back, 20" shoulder to shoulder, 21" upper sleeve circumference, 48" front length and 50" back length. Very unusual nightshirt!
